Adams Solist Xylophone Series offers many choices of practical, high quality instruments. With choices of Honduras Rosewood, Light Rosewood, and Zelon Bars, octave or quint tuning standards, and Voyager or Endurance Field Frames, there is an affordable, excellent instrument for all ensembles.

 * 3.5 octave instruments available in quint tuned Honduras Rosewood and Synthetic Zelon, and octave tuned Honduras Rosewood, Light Rosewood, and Synthetic Zelon

 * 4.0 octaves available in quint tuned Honduras Rosewood, and octave tuned Honduras Rosewood and Light Rosewood.

 * Quint tuning has a fifth tuned in between the fundamental and double octave for the short, penetrating sound that cuts through the largest ensembles. Quint tuning was the used on the classic American Xylophones of the 20s and 30s. Octave tuning has the first overtone the two octaves above the fundamental for a clear and brilliant sound, and is mostly popular in Europe.

 * Voyager and Field Frame System options easily adjust to the player’s height.

 * Field Frames include an accessory bar for multi-percussion setups.

 * Vinyl wrapped rails and powder coated resonators for durability.

 * Resonators feature welded construction, and are suspended from the frame on rubber isolation mounts, eliminating the possibility of any mechanical noise or vibration.

 * Soft Bag sets and flight cases are available for Voyager Frame Solist Xylophones for protection during transport.

 * Includes drop cover and 1 pair of XB6 mallets.
